I was feeling Incredibly sick, so much that I had no energy or interest in things that I usually loved to do. I could barely move, and everything made me sick. During this time, my mom was suuuuper worried about me. She made me soup, she brought me blankets, pillows, and would even wake up in the middle of the night just to check on me. That is true kindness. That wanting to do anything for someone, that feeling of doing something for someone because they deserve it. That is kindness! Now, it can be a bit hard to be kind ALL the time. There might be people you don’t really get along with, and sometimes even fight with, but the important thing to remember is that in the Bible, God says to love everyone. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get along with someone, you never wish that person a bad day. It’s also important to remember to be kind to others because God has been kind to us. Because God has been there for every moment we don’t have the energy or interest in things we love to do. God has always been there (and will always be there) for days when we don’t feel ourselves. So our job is, to reflect that to others.
Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
