Let your light shine.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Mathew 5:16

Sometimes, as teenagers, we have problems liking who we are. For example, I personally can be very insecure, and I have a hard time being myself. I don’t really like how I sound, and I don’t like my curly hair. Everyone has insecurities of their own, but when we look past them, we discover that we have beauty, kindness and love. Every single teenager goes through the same changes, such as acne, squeakier voices, and growing taller. But every teenager is different and beautiful in their own way. Don’t let people’s opinions interfere with your self-image, because God made you just how you are, and just how you need to be! He didn’t mess up, and he never said “oops!” when he was creating you. From
the very beginning of time, God knew how you were going to be, so there’s no need to feel insecure! There will always be people who like you. People who like your eyes, who like your hair, who like your smile, who like your personality and there will certainly always be people who love you and think you’re beautiful. So just be yourself and let God’s light shine through you.

But most importantly, above all the people who like you, Jesus loves you the most. He loves your eyes, your hair, your smile and your personality, and he will love you forever. He created you with a purpose and gave you all the qualities to fulfill it, embrace it!
